A New Orleans native, Monique received a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics from Louisiana State University in 1983. She opened Cabinets by Design in Gretna in 1988, after working for five years as a kitchen and bath designer at a local cabinet and appliance showroom. Monique purchased and renovated a building in Uptown, New Orleans in 2003, and moved her business to its current location. I have used this company for 5 different projects over the last 30 years. Monique is always professional and works very hard on all of our projects, and she always adds a creative design sense to every project. For our latest project, she helped turn a very small room into an office/photo studio. This small space is now my favorite space in my house.
